डायरी का लिखना -- एक दिन ऐन थोड़ी-सी उदास थी। उसने महसूस किया कि व्यक्तियों से अधिक कागज में सहनशीलता है। उसने महसूस किया कि वह किसी को भी अपनी डायरी' नहीं पढ़ने देगी जब तक उसे कोई वास्तविक मित्र प्राप्त नहीं होगा। इसलिए उसने इसे लिखा।
